Seafood Paradise is a new seafood+thai restaurant in town, the brainchild of two makciks. Located in Kiulap, opposite Sugar and Spice, it's pretty central and breezy compared to the Muara seafood centre. I'm not much of a seafood person so i wasnt exactly running through their seafood list, but i know they serve lobster, prawns, baraccudas, crabs, fish, etc cooked to your liking.
One of the makciks, Reza's mum
I was invited to their grand opening last Saturday for makan-makan and also to check out my dive pictures! Though taken with a digital camera instead of a SLR, and not of any professional standards, it was good enough for the walls of Seafood Paradise. My very first exhibit :) Thanks to Hj Harith and Reza for making it possible.
They have a 15pax private room available for reservation. First question i'd never fail to ask: Can BYO?? Most definitely! And check out one of my favourite shots in that room; the blushing cuttlefish.
So far i've only tried their pad thai, tom yum kung, and an appetizer that looks like fried leaves (ask for their speciality appetizer), i loved 'em all.

Hi Lee,
I just want to correct on the comment made for this blog. Regarding the BYO, I regret to inform you that this is now officially a HALAL restaurant and that alcohol consumption is not permitted. Thank you very much on making this blog.
